th September:

FIrstly, I want to give a shout out to Monica, Ryan’s work buddy, as he passed on some amazing feedback from you yesterday and it made me very happy. Thanks for listening Monica and enjoy the rest of your weekends on the snow!

definitely better than all of:

Right now, It’s beautifully clear at all the resorts and it will stay mostly Sunny throughout the day.. The UV index is 5, which is the upper end of moderate, so sunscreen is essential today.

Up top at Thredbo, it’ll hit 4 degrees by around 2pm, a few degrees higher in the village. Perisher Valley will hit a max of 6 or 7 degrees around the same time and a bit colder on the higher runs. Charlotte Pass will peak around 6 degrees. At all resorts, expect gentle or moderate breezes for most of the day, perhaps getting a bit stronger in the later arvo. As for the lifts, there should be as many open as yesterday, which was 11 of 14 at Thredbo, 42 of 47 at Perisher, and all 5 at Charlotte Pass.

If you’re driving up, the roads might be icy as it’s still well below zero degrees, but snow chains aren’t currently required. Remember to carry them with you though, as if the police happen to check in on you, the fine is well over $300 bucks !

Before I go, I want to ask a favor of you. I’m currently working on a video and social media version of the podcast - so I’d love it if you tag dailysnowpod, and I’ll give a shout to the most creative posts.

Anyway, no more plugs today - you should definitely be heading to the snow as there won’t be a heap of these days left this year. Thanks for listening, I’m Anthony Garvin, it’s Wednesday September 14 and this has been Daily Snow.
