The first Episode of Daily Snow for the 2023 Winter!
Transcript
As I ramp up things over the next couple of weeks,I’ll be giving you regular updates on the snow conditions at the NSW resorts, as well as useful info and trivia about the mountains. If you like what you hear, please subscribe to the podcast and tell a couple friends about it.
Right now though, it’s been a slow start to the snow season. Thredbo, Charlotte Pass and Selwyn are yet to open any lifts, and Perisher just has the one ski carpet operating on Front Valley. Obviously this is a little disappointing, as a few weeks ago it was very cold and there was a fair bit of snow already. Perisher was even rumored to be opening a week early - until it got warm, then it rained, and the snow washed away.
Anyway, we’re only at the very beginning of the season so better things are to come… There’s about 50cm of snow predicted over the next 10 days, so in another week or 2, things should be looking much better.
In the meantime, I'll be updating you every now and then while we await the snow fall. So subscribe to the podcast if you haven’t already and stay tuned for further updates.
Thanks for listening, I’m Anthony Garvin, and this has been Daily Snow for Tuesday June 13.
