Despite what I said the last couple days, there's almost definitely rain incoming today :(

Transcript
,:

It was a milder day than expected yesterday, as it wasn’t quite as warm as predicted - nor was there rain during the day like I thought there might be, though it did sprinkle a teeny tiny amount last night. So I hope you managed to squeeze another nice day on the snow.

Today, it looks grim., so I’ll try to deliver the bad news as best I can,. We have an almost certain chance of rain from later in the morning, with the possibility of a thunderstorm as well. If you’re super keen for a little bit more snow-time, head there now, and get off the slopes when the rain starts, because I don’t think it’s going to be too fun at all, there’s 10-20mm rain in the forecast.

Up top at Thredbo it’s gonna be between 4 and 6 degrees all ski-day, Perisher Valley might get up to 10 degrees and Charlotte Pass 9. There will be fresh breezes up at the higher areas, so not that windy, but it will make those temps feel colder, so be prepared. Remember that 10 degree temperature prediction is in Perisher Valley, not Mount Perisher - so take a few more degrees off for the altitude, and at least a few more off for the windchill.

The lift status should be much the same as yesterday - all 5 open at Charlotte Pass, most at thredbo, and most of the good ones at Perisher - except, sadly, Ridge Chair looks to be shut down for the year.

On a positive note, tomorrow looks to be colder than today and there is a chance of snow incoming, probably overnight if it does happen. Mind you, it will most likely rain again during the day tomorrow. However, there’s a few days of snow in the forecast again next week, from about Tuesday or Wednesday. And you can be sure to rely on my for updates as we go

Back to today, and if you are heading up, you will not need snow chains on your wheels, but still carry them with you. If the weather starts to get wild, take it easy and be patient on the roads.
